Recent Donations

Recent grants to area colleges, hospitals, the American Red Cross and other recipients have enhanced services to heart patients, and helped train the medical professionals entrusted with their care.

Among them:

  • $367,000 + in nursing scholarships covering tuition and books.
  • $110,560 for CPR training for the public, and for instructional mannequins used by college students and hospital residents;
  • $17,000 toward cardiac services provided by the St. Petersburg Free Clinic;
  • $23,100 for speakers, seminars and symposiums on heart health open to the public;
  • $25,000 for external cardiac defibrillators and other medical equipment,
    and much more.
